About Funky Frogz

Founded by Taylor Vorbeck,  who recognized the importance of play-based pretend activities for young minds, our indoor playground in Sanford, North Carolina, is a haven for children aged 6 months to 7 years.

Taylor's journey began when she walked in her oldest child’s kindergarten orientation and realized centers had been completely stripped from the classroom. Determined to provide a space where children could rediscover the joy of imaginative play, she embarked on creating Funky Frogz. The result is a vibrant and dynamic environment where kids can truly be themselves, explore, create, and most importantly, have a blast just being kids.

At Funky Frogz, we believe in the power of play to foster creativity and social development. Taylor's vision extends beyond just a play area; she envisioned a place where families come together to share in the joy of play. It's a space where parents and children alike can connect, create memories, and experience the magic of childhood.

For Taylor, values of Christ first, community, and family are paramount. As a dedicated wife to Nate and a loving mother to four incredible kids – Ryleigh, Greyson, Kinsley, and Copleyn – she understands the importance of a supportive and nurturing environment for children to thrive. Taylor is not only a member of Life Springs Church but also an elected Commissioner for Lee County, demonstrating her commitment to community service.
